Multimedia Storytelling Students Explore Japan’s Creative Landscape
This June, students from the Applied Learning Course for Multimedia Storytelling embarked on an inspiring four-day study tour to Kyoto and Osaka. They immersed themselves in Japan’s rich cultural heritage, visiting iconic landmarks like Togetsukyo Bridge and Tenryu-ji. The group also explored artistic expression at the Kyoto City Kyocera Museum of Art, gathering visual inspiration from centuries of Japanese design.
In Osaka, the focus shifted to modern innovation with visits to the Osaka Science Museum and the OCA Osaka College of Design and Technology. A key highlight was attending the World Expo 2025. The visit offered a firsthand look at how nations use immersive technology and design to share their visions for the future. This journey provided a powerful blend of cultural depth and technological foresight, equipping students with unique perspectives to enrich their multimedia projects.
