Mentorship is more than the mentor witnessing growth of the students. This growth can be mutual. Michael, Sandy, Marcus, and Anson, who are mentors from UBS, one of the Industry Partners of Jockey Club Multiple Pathways Initiative CLAP-TECH Pathway, joined the project with the same concept of nurturing future talents. Interestingly, new thoughts burgeoned after the initial meeting with students much younger than themselves. Mentorship programme of CLAP-TECH Pathway highlights a 3-year commitment, where the matching and connection has started right from the moment the student chose this subject. During this 3-year professional relationship, mentors summon their industrial and personal experiences to equip students with the techniques, soft skills, and attitudes that are required in the workplace.
