Students from the Higher Diploma in Art Tech Design programme recently explored the vibrant intersection of art and technology during a four-day study tour in Japan.
The itinerary blended cultural immersion with academic insight, featuring visits to iconic landmarks like Sensō-ji Temple, the towering Tokyo Skytree, National Museum of Western Art, the digital wonderland of TeamLab Planets, and institutions such as Chiba Institute of Technology and Tokyo Communication Arts (TCA) Specialized Training College.
A key highlight was an exclusive session with Japan-based Hong Kong new media artist Mr. Eric Siu, who shared his professional journey. This “Art Tech Voyage” provided students with invaluable inspiration and fresh perspectives for their future creative careers.
