Students from the Higher Diploma in Data Science programme recently embarked on a four-day study tour in Singapore, immersing themselves in practical applications of data and technology.
Highlights included an artificial intelligence workshop at the Management Development Institute of Singapore; a guided visit to the National University of Singapore; and a tour of the one-north innovation district.
Students further explored the Urban Redevelopment Authority City Gallery to trace Singapore’s urban transformation, met StashAway professionals to examine data-driven wealth management, and enjoyed cultural stops at the ArtScience Museum’s Future World exhibition, the Merlion, and Gardens by the Bay. The itinerary concluded with a branding lecture at Changi Airport Training Centre and Jewel Changi Airport. The tour sparked curiosity, expanded networks, and energised students for future data-focused careers.
