CLAP-TECH organised a field study at Central Market for senior secondary students taking the Applied Learning course in Multimedia Storytelling. The visit connected classroom learning with a living heritage site and explored how culture, technology and business thinking intersect.
In the historic building, students learned about Central Market’s 80-plus years of history and revitalisation, and examined distinctive craftsmanship and architectural features. They also explored ways to evoke the marketplace atmosphere through media—for example, using visual effects to create a virtual vendor character and projection to simulate a fish stall—showing how Art Tech can be applied in urban spaces.
