As the academic year draws to a close, Andrew Ho, Director of CLAP-TECH Centre, HKBU, and Clinton Chan, CLAP-TECH graduate, recently spoke at the Hong Kong International Education and Careers Expo on “From Passion to Pathways: How Students Can Plan and Prepare for the AI Era.”
They shared practical advice for the AI era: while AI supports, humans lead, soft skills like creativity, critical thinking, and communication are increasingly in demand. Ultimately, experience matters, as practical exposure through internships, part-time roles, and projects helps students build a strong portfolio to stand out in the job market.
At CLAP-TECH, the commitment remains strong to continuing this conversation through future events and initiatives in embracing the AI era.
