CLAP-TECH recently organised a CV and interview workshop for students in the Higher Diploma in Art Tech Design programme. Held in March, it linked classroom learning with recruitment expectations and prepared students for summer internships.
Students learned to craft professional CVs and portfolios by consolidating strengths, showcasing specialisms, and demonstrating proficiency with multimedia software. They also explored how to use AI tools and common productivity software to highlight achievements and produce interview-ready materials.
Led by experienced trainers, students strengthened their interview performance through simulated sessions, honing their self-introductions and Q&A techniques. The coaching encouraged reflection on career goals and storytelling techniques.
The workshop sharpened students’ materials and confidence, equipping them for upcoming internships and future study and work in the creative industries.
*Programme offered by the College of International Education, Hong Kong Baptist University.
